Kimberly Gunn

Kimberly Gunn joins the ranks alongside some of the top indie artists in the Southeast.  Her label, Kimberly Gunn Music, has grown to include a variety of arts such as her radio show, “Psalm and the Songs of Solomon Show (PS3), The Love & Soul Experience, her annual event, The Love & Soul Family Festival in Forsyth Park (Savannah,GA), being a national blogger for Women with Gifts, LLC in Austin, Texas, and her most recent project, The Love Again Initiative, which brings awareness to the importance of mental health and self care.

Over the years,  She has continued to invest into her development as a singer, an artist, and songwriter.  In 2011, she received a Master's Degree in Music with a concentration in Leadership at Liberty University.  She's also been on regional and national platforms such as Stellar Award Show and Pre-Show in 2012-2013, featured artist for the Richmond County's Fair in 2011, Universal Soul Circus Savannah in 2012, Savannah Urban Arts Festival 2013, Savannah Chatham Stars 2013, Jacksonville's Oyster Jam Festival 2014, One Spark Jacksonville 2014, 100 Black Men of Savannah Gala 2016, Divine Rest's Homeless Organization 2017, Savannah's MLK 5K Run 2017, Savannah's Music Festival with jazz artist Gerald Clayton 2017, The Love & Soul Family Fest 2018-2019, and more.  Through these opportunities and platforms, Kimberly have been nominated for several awards in categories for the 2014 Rhythm of Gospel Awards and The PrayzeFactor People's Choice awards 2013-2017. 

She's shared the stage with artists such as Jazz Artist Gerald Clayton, Rene Marie, Soul Artist Lisa McClendon, Gospel Artists Erica Campbell, CeCe Winans, Tamela Mann, Kim Burrell, and more.  Her 2010 debut album “Desires” sold over 500 copies during the first week and her single “Hold On” from the 2010 “Desires” project broke into the top 20 of gospel songs played in the Southeastern United States in October 2012. The Desires' single has been included on several compliation albums and played internationally on digital media outlets. 

Kimberly continues to use music/songwriting as therapy to overcome the various challenges in her life. Her latest soul music single, Clap for Me, is a soultry inspirational anthem; a song about self acceptance and self love that will debut October 4, 2019 in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week.  Specializing in soul, contemporary jazz, and Contemporary Christian music, Kimberly is on a mission to help others discover their purpose through music. 

Kimberly is the lovely wife of Pastor Matthew Gunn. She is an educator of 13 years in the Chatham County Public School system.  She loves spending time with her family, loved ones, and friends.
